Albany Case Study
Albany — September 13, 2018 — Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan continues the execution of her long-term plan of renovating parks in every neighborhood with an improvement plan for Madison Avenue Park. Playground manufacturer KOMPAN will help facilitate this renovation with a $100,000 donation of new playground equipment. Renderings of the proposed playground will be presented to the public at the Meet, Munch, & More 2018 event.
“The replacement of the playground equipment at the Madison Avenue Park is another example of my administration’s commitment to revitalizing parks in every neighborhood,” said Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan. “Thank you to KOMPAN for helping enhance this park by donating and installing the new playground equipment.”
Revitalizing Albany’s playgrounds and parks creates wonderful spaces for citizens to come together, igniting the community. Reaction to the improvement plan has been overwhelmingly positive.
